The
EJ-Extreme full featured In-Circuit Emulators is Sophia's newest high
performance emulation system supporting 32 & 64-bit processors.
The EJ-Extreme has USB 2.0 & LAN high-speed interface and incorporates
a chip-specific probe, emulation memory, trace memory, and CPA (Coverage
Performance Analyzer) function into one compact unit.
The
EJ-Extreme LTT (Long Term Trace) series brings embedded debugging to
a whole new level with the ability to capture over 100GBytes of trace
data. By recording the execution data onto a HDD (hard disc drive),
the EJ-Extreme LTT can simulate the target for longer periods of time.
This makes it much easier to locate those hard to find bugs that are
difficult to detect when attempting to measure an event by the second.
With the 100Gbytes of storage available, an event can be measured for
an hour or more, freeing up the developer during target execution. In
addition, improved graphical output displays, such as CPU performance,
lead to more thoroughly debugged products - resulting in significant
potential savings for companies and higher quality products for consumers.
The
EJ-Extreme full featured ICE design can operate on a stand-alone basis
with its own memory, clock, and CPU probe, allowing you to begin debugging
your program while the board is still being developed! Once your board
has been developed, it can connect directly to your target (by replacing
the CPU), enabling the use of up to 16MB's of emulation memory (with
EJ-Extreme) or over 100 Gigabytes of memory (with EJ-Extreme LTT), and
the 64K cycles real-time trace recording of bus cycle data. The real-time
RAM monitor also allows the use the opportunity to view memory in real-time!
