Systems Co., Ltd. supports the adoption of IEEE 1149.7 test
and debug standard. The new standard offers enhanced debug functionality
in smaller package sizes.

KAWASAKI, JAPAN
(February 10, 2010) The new IEEE 1149.7 test and debug
standard provides an expansion and improvement of IEEE 1149.1 JTAG
functionality. Sophia Systems Co., Ltd. (Subsidiary of Sohwa Corporation)
will incorporate the IEEE 1149.7 standard into its EJ Debugging
product line to support improved debug capabilities and power constraints
for system-on-chip (SoC) embedded architectures. As a member of the
Texas Instruments (TI) Developer Network, Sophia Systems will continue
to support debugging tools for TIs OMAP processors, including
those that will implement the new features specified in the new IEEE
1149.7 standard. The new standard will allow developers to easily
test and debug products with complex digital circuitry, multiple CPUs
