Sophia
Systems announces complete JTAG support for the ARM11 family with
high-speed 200MHz ETM trace and the optional ETB supported

May 27th, Kanagawa, Japan: Sophia Systems (CEO: Tasuku Kashihira,
JASDAQ: 6942) announces the release of our EJ-Debug series JTAG emulator
supporting ARM's latest processor core, the ARM11 family. At the same
time, Sophia announces full support of ETM trace and a development
environment supporting the new ETB trace feature.
Since
its initial release in December 2003, Sophia's compact EJ-Debug JTAG
series has been gaining popularity among embedded engineers worldwide.
The USB-powered EJ-Debug series now supports a wide range of processors
with the latest addition supporting the ARM 11 family. Included in
this product release is our first EJ-Debug JTAG with ETM trace capability
(a feature previously supported by our UniSTAC II/J JTAG series).
Sophia Systems will exhibit these exciting new products at the 8th
Embedded Systems Expo & Conference (ESEC) in Tokyo on June 29th
to July 1st.

In addition our high-level language Watchpoint debugger provides many
powerful features such as high-speed downloading of various module
formats, various OS debugging functions, easy access to the symbol
source and file functions, ability to modify and save source and disassembly
code, view and modify internal registers, fast program downloads directly
to Flash ROM, and so much more
