Sophia Systems Announces Distribution for the Intel® C++ Software Development Tool Suite

INTEL DEVELOPER FORUM, San Francisco, Calif., Feb. 17, 2004 - Sophia Systems Co., Ltd. (JASDAQ: Sophia 6942), is pleased to announce that Sophia Systems is the first to distribute (sales and support) the Intel® C++ Software Development Tools Suite. This new tool suite is targeted at developers building applications based on Intel® XScale® Technology and includes support for the Intel® PXA25x/26x applications processor and the upcoming processor code named "Bulverde."

Intel® C++ Software Development Tool Suite features IDE support for Metroworks* CodeWarrior*, Workbench, C++ Compiler, Assembler, Linker, and Debugger including RTOS plug-ins. The XDB Debugger includes a Simulator Debugger, a JTAG debugger, and a ROM Monitor Debugger. The RTOS XDB plug-ins include support for Palm*OS, Symbian*OS, and Nucleus*OS.

In addition, Sophia Systems has developed the Watchpoint® interface software that allows users of the Intel® C++ Software Development Tool Suite to debug their targets/code with Sophia's own high performance in-circuit emulators. This Watchpoint® interface allows developers more sophisticated debugging options and support with the UniSTAC™II Full featured ICE, the UniSTAC™II/J JTAG ICE and the upcoming EJ-Debug low cost JTAG solution.
